Following on from the success of last year’s laser training Dan has once again volunteered his time and expertise. The training will take place on Friday evenings (on dates to be arranged) and is open to all laser sailors. If you didn’t attend any of last year’s sessions they were greatly appreciated by all who did! So if you are interested, drop me a line or catch me at the club over the next week or two, and we can then figure out a schedule.
The enterprise fleet are arranging some informal skill share/ training sessions, the aim of these sessions will be to practice techniques particular to the Enterprise, myself and Phil Wilson will be there to start things off.
The first took place last Friday evening (17th May), which was a success and enjoyed by all, future sessions are planned for 24th & 31st so if you haven’t sailed for a while this might be the perfect opportunity to kick start your season.
We will be meeting at around 6:30 to begin rigging, with the aim of being on the water at 7pm for around an hour. Sessions could include;
Roll tacking/ gybes
So if you have any particular requests to work on let me know…………..
